As you take in the sights of The Imperial City of Reme, you can't
help but notice many open accesses to the sewer system below.
Was it the absurdity of the monkey guard screaming beneath
Astra Road?
Perhaps it was the smell of something more than just fish from
below the pilings of the merchant docks?
Maybe, you just couldn't resist the chance to climb into a gleaming
porcelain toilet?
Whatever drew your interest, you now find yourself in a place of pure regret
as you happen upon an old soldier, sitting in the muck, nursing a broken leg.
Taarn looks up at you with a feverish look in his eyes.
He tries to rise, but his broken leg gives out and he cries out in pain.
Taarn says 'Please... you MUST help Felisluna... Rok has her and he has lost
whatever sanity and morals he once possessed! You MUST find her!'
Taarn motions north with his hand.
He says 'She is somewhere out there... in the sewers...
his headquarters is hidden somewhere out there.
Please... you are her only chance now that my leg has fallen
victim to his trap...
Please go help her.'
You should turn back now, you think to yourself.
Another hapless adventurer will find Taarn eventually and save his ward.
I mean, there must be countless heroes destined to be drawn to the
sewers of Reme.
Some other poor soul will uncover The Reman Conspiracy!
Its only a matter of time, right?
