When a player reaches level 200 on Aardwolf, they reach 'HERO' status. Although the player can no longer continue to gain levels, they will still increase their powers every 1000 exp and gain trains just as if they had levelled, regardless of the experience cost per level the character had from levels 1 to 199. This process is referred to as 'powering up' or simply 'pup'.

This allows heroes and superheroes to gain trains towards building stats up to their maximum (see 'help maxstats'). These stats can be saved across each remort and are restored when you reach level 201 for the next time around. See 'help sh-stats' for an explanation of how this works.
