There are 2 simple ways to cure thirst and hunger:
1. Drink from a fountain: When you head up to the academy, there is a
fountain 3 north from the entrance. When you're in the room with the
fountain, just type 'drink'.
2. Buy a drink container from a clan hall: For example, 'runto seekers',
then go 'south'. One of the objects for sale is the Goblet of the Well
Educated. Once you purchase this and drink its contents, you can 'fill
goblet' at any fountain and you've got yourself a drink container that
will last forever.
