This is where we cover what your application should consist of and give you
an example application.
All applications should be on Personal Board and addressed to Boot. For
the Subject, please reference the words "application" or "joining". Now just
like a job application, you wouldn't just put "I want the job!". We'd like a
bit more information as the following example shows:
Type: "forum personal"
Current forum changed to Personal. You can read and write in this forum.
Type: "note write"
The recipient of this post must NOT include: "all"
To : boot
Subject : Joining Boot
Enter your post. Type END on an empty line to finish.
Hello, my name is Barney.
I have been playing for 15 years and I really enjoy doing quests and
campaigns. :)
I would like to join bootcamp because I would like some extra help
learning where to level.
I'm pretty active, I really enjoy the game and hope to make some new
friends. :D
The above is an example of a good application. Here is an example of a bad one:
"i would like to join boot camp, it is awsome"
Not much information at all is given there and it doesn't look as though
a lot of effort was put into writing it. This doesn't give your potential
future clannies a lot of incentive to get to know you better. Most clans
would prefer something along the lines of the first note for an application
(or in many cases, quite a bit more than that). We here at Boot Camp are not
as strict, but we do want to help you learn to write application notes now so
that you know the basics for clan applications as you continue your
Aard career.
