An over 10-year veteran of MUDs, Rau began playing Aardwolf in December 2003, after being introduced by his RL girlfriend and mud-spouse Tabiya. Rau quickly became addicted to Aardwolf, especially questing, campaigning, gquests, and exploration. He was a member of Touchstone for 1 year and 3 months and spent a year outside the clan system. In April 2006, Rau joined The Order of Shadokil.
In real life, Rau is a computer programmer residing in Alexandria, VA, with Tabiya and their 5-year-old daughter. His interests include computer games, english (especially medieval) literature, science fiction/fantasy novels, and movies.
