Kobol Siege Camp and Gypsy Caravan Areas Lasher, May 22, 2015 New Area and Goal – Kobold Siege Camp: Historians have long since believed that a great castle belonging to the Eldar once stood in the far northern reaches of Mesolar. Numerous expeditions have discovered various ruins in the areas described in crusty old books. The debate about the existence of such a castle has always revolved around how and when it was destroyed, never if it still proudly stood. Many an intelligent conversation has sprouted over a goblet of wine and cup of ale regarding the subject. No one could have foretold that one of the least intelligent races known to the world could stumble upon this ancient castle. While losing their path on a raid, an army of kobolds discovered a vast and ancient castle. Their first, and most natural, reaction was to siege and sack this magnificent structure. Without engaging the resident Eldar regarding terms of surrender, the kobolds descended upon the castle in unreasonable numbers. With their numbers dwindling, and no signs of breaching any time soon, the General has issued an official (or as official as kobolds can get) request for assistance. Travellers from near and far fill the gypsy markets here, looking to strike a deal. Couples dance in the streets with merriment much to the amusement of dignitaries and noblemen passing through. Although not all is as it seems… the air here feels dense, and the faces of shopkeepers are veiled with thin smiles. Although the gypsies go about the day with determination, there is a more sinister force behind the scenes. A blood curdling scream echoes through the streets, coming from the gardens! Will you answer the call, and help restore peace to the Gypsy Caravan? The %T reply pointer variable can now be used in Battle Prompts. The number of completed goals under ‘score’ should now match what is shown in ‘goals done’, which means that completed goals are in there even if hidden. Fixed a bug with attacker rather than target getting a ‘too slothful to flee’ message when auto-wimpy kicks in. Someone affected by ‘curse of sloth’ could follow another player without the sloth effect being checked. Now fixed. Teleportation spells are also now respecting Curse of Sloth. Fixed the heading on ‘group list stats’. MUD News
