Skeletal Remains Area:<\/span><\/p>\n

Once, long ago, there was a land ruled by Ratazhal, a wise and noble baron
\nwhose strength and wisdom made him beloved by his people. By his side was
\nXelthar, a gifted necromancer who, unlike others of his kind, practiced his
\ncraft for the good of the realm. Xelthar was a trusted advisor, using his
\nknowledge of the dead to counsel the living, ensuring balance between life
\nand death and preserving harmony within the Baron’s lands. His magic was
\npure, his intentions honest, and his loyalty to Ratazhal unwavering.<\/p>\n

But fate has a way of twisting even the noblest of intentions.<\/p>\n

A shadow crept into Xelthar’s mind, fed by whispered promises from the dark
\ncorners of existence – power, immortality, and the secret to bending life
\nand death to his will. Despite his once benevolent intentions, Xelthar could
\nnot resist the allure of such forbidden knowledge. He became obsessed with
\nthe idea of resurrecting those long gone, harnessing their essence not only
\nto prolong life but to fortify the Baron’s lands against future threats.<\/p>\n

He shared his discoveries with Ratazhal, but the baron, sensing the growing
\ndarkness within his advisor, warned Xelthar against such reckless pursuits.
\nYet, Xelthar was undeterred. He believed only he could see the true
\npotential of his newfound power. Frustrated and fearful, Ratazhal sought to
\nend his advisor’s experiments. A great conflict ensued, a clash of wills
\nthat left Xelthar cursed, his body twisted and corrupted by dark magic, he
\nwas cast out from the Baron’s lands to wander as a tortured outcast.<\/p>\n

Betrayed and embittered, Xelthar fled to the lands now known as Skeletal
\nRemains a desolate, haunted place at the edge of the world. There, in the
\nshadow of his former greatness, Xelthar began to unleash his dark arts. He
\nbecame the overlord of Skeletal Remains, ruling over a macabre army of
\nundead abominations. Each of them was a soul twisted and bound by his dark
\nmagic, forever enslaved to do his bidding. Xelthar was not content merely to
\nrule his dismal domain. He sought to expand his reign of terror beyond the
\nconfines of Skeletal Remains. To do so, he created portals to invade other
\nlands.<\/p>\n
