I started mudding when I was 14 years old, and never really stopped in the past 13 years. I have only played one other mud seriously, but the different between my old home and aardwolf is so extreme that when I tried Aardwolf in early 2000 I became so overwhelmed I logged off within minutes of creating. When I came back in 2012, I was happy to embrace the differences and welcomed the fact that there were hundreds of players logged on (compared to the old play, where I was one of 3 mortals left).

I don't really remember my first 6 months playing aardwolf, it's sort of a blur, like I was drinking the entire time (which I wasn't, as I rarely drink). However, I found my home when I joined Emerald and I have enjoyed my time in the game tremendously. I'm not a serious PKer, my specialty is more in helping the newbies (and not strangling them), offering superhero spell-ups to the masses, and running trivia and other events. It's no secret I like play hostess to parties and celebrations within aardwolf, and it's a good thing I don't have direct access to Emerald's bank account, or else we might be in trouble!

I recently started as an aardwolf builder! This is very exciting for me, as when I began looking at lua was like looking at Latin. I had no clue where to begin and it was extremely overwhelming. Luckily, thanks for a few good friends (Lexos, Trepid, and Yowza) I was on my way! My first goal write-up was the Realm of Infamy and I am rather happy with how it turned out. I am now focusing on my first area and finding new ways to make things interesting! Luckily, I have plenty of inspiration and expertise from other builders!

When I'm not playing aardwolf, I am typically at work! I am a preschool teacher for children who has a hearing loss and use listening technology (hearing aids, cochlear implants). I am very blessed to have my job and grateful for no-service days when I can quest while cutting out laminate!

If you need any assistance with anything, feel free to ask for help. I will do my best to assist you, but just remember, I believe in teaching a man to fish....not handing it to him.
