Harkening back to the powers of Vlad the Impaler, a weapon with the vampiric
flag has the ability to remove hit points from the target and bestow them
upon the wielder. This regenerative ability is powered by particularly dark
forces, and this darkness will slowly corrupt those who prosper from it.
This ability is very similar to the mage spell 'vampiric touch'.
