The ideas board (see 'help board') is provided for players to make various suggestions regarding any changes to the game. Ideas posted are open for discussion by anyone that can see the original note; 99% of the time, this is all other players and immortals.

Before posting your idea, please read 'help deadideas' to see if it is on that list. You may also want to ask around to see if the idea has already been brought up recently or has known issues preventing it and 'help todo' to see if it is a project that is already at least in an ideas state, if not implemented in some form.

Every idea that is posted is read by the Imms and archived for future reference. However, due to the volume of notes on ideas (sometimes 100+ a week), it is impossible for the imms to respond to each and every idea.

If you are going to be offended or frustrated because you don't get an Imm response to your idea, we recommend you not post at all. We DO want to hear your ideas, but please understand that we'd prefer to spend time actually making upgrades to the mud, rather than not having time to because we're too busy responding to notes. Also, please do not post Imms personal notes asking whether your idea has been read or what the Imms think about it- any response that would be given, would be done on the Ideas board, and this just creates unnecessary duplication/spam.

It is worth also noting that ideas that have '.... sucks' '... is stupid' on the first line, or, 'I saw ..... on another mud' are likely to be skipped, as are ideas that are over a page or two long that don't REALLY grab the reader's attention in the first few lines.
