A 'death field' is a life-sapping region of negative energy. Only adept psionicists can use this power. The death field moves out from the psionicist and envelops every mobile in the room. Over time, monsters have become naturally resistant to the main effect of this spell (death). However, many psionicists still use this ancient art as a means to strike a severe blow to all monsters in their immediate area.
