July 14th - Aardwolf mud acquires Aardwolf.com After just under 10 years of waiting for the right time, we have finally acquired the domain Aardwolf.com Anyone who follows this stuff knows that single word .COM domain names are not cheap, but using some of the "go away now please" money from my job and help from a couple of players that knew about this in advance, we were able to pull it off. For me, this is a perfect way to mark our almost 10 year anniversary and is a great platform to kick off the next 10 years! If you have any links to Aardwolf on your web site, please modify then to point to aardwolf.com rather than aardmud.org - it will take some time but we will be slowly phasing out aardmud.org. DMOZ also listed us as a 'cool site' which means we get to display a nice little logo on our home page. Again, anyone into websites knows that it can be tough even getting listed in DMOZ so being listed as a 'cool site' is a nice compliment. Date Posted - 07.14.2006 |
